Timber

this was unfortunately a little bit of a let down for me, the story had been building up and we seem to be getting closer to exacting our revenge, when the majority of the page count is focused on smut and most of the plotting is happening off page.
don't get me wrong, I am grateful that we're getting actual group scenes (unlike MK, hrmpf), but they were keeping so many secrets from each other so that it felt like some twists were totally out of the blue, for the reader and some of the MCs
The torture part was absolutely brutal and my heart broke reading these passages, I thought it was handled really well but was equally relieved when it was over.
The ending initially felt very anti-climatic to me and I'm glad one of the side characters actually commented the same, so good on Tate for fooling us.
