I didn't have high hopes for this because I didn't enjoy LOCAL WOMAN MISSING or JUST THE NICEST COUPLE from this author. Holy cow, this exceeded all of my expectations!
The plot is wild, the characters can't be trusted, and the twists are whiplash-inducing!
Right from the jump, the prologue threw me off from the synopsis and things escalated so quickly and didn't slow down until the pulse-pounding last page. There's no way I would have been able to see the twists coming, but I also could not flip the pages fast enough. I was thinking about this book even when I wasn't reading it, and that's when you know a book is good! Definitely my favourite read of the month and so glad I squeezed it in at the eleventh hour! If you haven't picked this up yet, I strongly recommend it!
