 i love picture books about making a garden :) i was so hoping those were seed bombs! the illustrations were so cute and reminded me a lot of comics!  i like the set-up of being away at an aunts, missing your mom and home, but growing under kind direction and care and making a best friend and accidentally-then-on-purpose transforming a neighborhood while doing it. i liked how that the time passing over a year pages were done and i loveddd that last shot of the garden fully becoming a vibrant and thriving community space. we're going to see what else we can grow :)
