I absolutely loved A Psalm for the Wild-Built.  Having adored Chambers' Wayfarers series and having been sad to see it end, I am so happy to have this new series, Monk & Robot, to (impatiently) look forward to.  It is difficult to sum up this book without spoilers, but it follows Sibling Dex, a monk who has grown weary of their vocation and sets off in search of something new, and Splendid Speckled Mosscap, a robot Dex encounters in the forest.  This is the first time in many years a human has seen a robot, and what follows is almost akin to a 'first contact' story, as well as a meditation on the human condition, humans' place in the environment as a part of nature, and the meaning of life.  A quiet, reflective novella that brought me so much joy.  Highly recommend.
