This was such a delightful story, and listening to it on audio was so lovely! The friendship dynamics were perfect, the cameos of characters from Imogen, Obviously were everything to me, and the portrayal of a parasocial relationship was done so beautifully it almost hurt.
This story was so relatable to me in the aspect of loving someone you don’t know so much that a bond is formed which few people understand the intensity of it. I’ve had several musicians and YouTubers who I’ve connected with and they’ve changed my life with the words they’ve written/said and the experiences/feelings they’ve shared. It is a connection and relationship that feels so vulnerable and sacred to me. Seeing it portrayed so perfectly in this book held a special kind of nostalgia for me, and I hope others find a sense of relatability or joy from it.
