Excited to read the second one when it comes out!
There were some twists and turns I truly wasn't expecting (as well as some plot twists I could see a mile away, but I count on figuring things out before the characters sometimes!). As I got closer to the end of the book I was wondering how the book was going to end, knowing it was the first in a series and that the final "goal" was nowhere near achieved yet. I wasn't surprised by the betrayal that led to the ending, but I was surprised by the result! Great work for a first novel.
