“Instead of waiting for the day when an operator calls to tell me I’m going to die, I already understand how important it is to live while I can.”
Gloria loves that insight.
Life shouldn’t be about to end before someone begins living.

Much better than the first book! But I do love the callback to the first book too.

Why am I still devastated when a character dies even though I’m told in the beginning that they’re gonna die??? Also, I’m upset that
we still don’t know how Death-Cast does it. 😤 At least, I didn’t catch it.
