The World's Greatest First Love, Vol. 5 by Shungiku Nakamura
5.0
This series will be the death of me. I am so invested right now. I have no idea what I am going to do when I have finally caught up with all of the English editions!!
The beginning of this volume focuses on the misunderstanding that has occurred between Shota Kisa and Kou Yukina. I really related to Kisa in this book. It's funny because he doesn't have that much confidence in himself, yet when you see Kisa through Ritsu's eyes, he is meant to be one of the like flower boys in the manga department. I love the development of their relationship and I can't wait to see their plot develop further!
The middle of this volume then shifts to Ritsu and Masamune. They are at the point where Ritsu is so close to confessing his love to keep Masamune, and that happens because of the obstacles in their path. But also some of the obstacles are pushing them apart like what happens towards the end of this volume.
I really love this series and I can't wait to continue on reading!
