My Hero Academia, Vol. 10 by Kōhei Horikoshi

RATING: 3.5 stars

That was... kind of lame.
Spoiler Is that it? They finish off this battle, take Bakugou home, and that's... the whole kidnapping arc? Of course I don't want anything to happen to Bakugou, but, like, still lame lol.

I think this could have probably been stretched out more, actually. We could have gotten more character depth and stuff. There were a few conversations that were... cool, I guess, but there should have been a longer period without action and fighting and rescue, I think, so we could deal with what happened? I barely had time to be "shocked"- the fandom totally spoiled me for this lmao- before they were already deciding to go rescue Bakugou.

I guess this volume is darker and stuff, but there was no real focus on anyone in it. It was the same problem as the eighth volume, but that at least had Momo's character development- this had nothing. I just wanted more out of it.

I'm very much ready for this battle- multiple battles, actually, all at once- to be over, so that we can move on to the next arc.

Oh, but there was one thing I totally loved: THE DISGUISES. Iida, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Izuku looked hilarious lmao Todoroki should start rocking that hairstyle everywhere. And I literally confused Kirishima with Kaminari with that hair lol.
