drivewayfriedeggs 's review for:
The Lathe of Heaven
by Ursula K. Le Guin
I read this book under truly privileged circumstances, riding Portland's buses and trains, sitting in its coffeeshops and bars, uniquely able to vividly imagine the various permutations rendered by Le Guin's prose as George Orr makes and remakes the city in the images of his dreams. It's a deeply strange book, one I enjoyed the experience of reading more than I ultimately enjoyed the book itself.
