The Assassin and the Underworld
by Sarah J. Maas
"My name is Wind. And Rain. And Bone and Dust. My name is a snippet of a half-remembered song. I have no name. I am whoever the keepers of my fate tell me to be"
So, I basically deleted my entire original review of this novella because I do not believe it aligns with anything I feel about it now. I reread this because my friend recently purchased the book and I wanted a refresher on what had happened before I started "Crown of Midnight" because the evvents from this book start being important in Queen of Shadows. So it was a double win.
I really loved Calaena and Sam's relationship in this one. The beginning is a bit... annoying, but it gets better. This is probably my favorite novella from the book "The Assasin's Blade"
