I listened to the dramatized audiobook by Media Graphic Productions, and that is what saved any amount of me enjoying this predictable genre.
The musical cues and background sounds really brings the story to life. I also appreciat  voice cast. In general, this type of book just is not for me. It's comical how predictable it is for a 19 year old girl to fall in love with a "what age are you really" occult being. The relationship has no grounds for logic and comes out of nowhere.
It is, however, easy to consume and great if you need some light fluff as a palette cleanser.
