I am still catching up on the Scarpetta's series and this was another good read.  I felt it was a little heavy in providing maybe too much backstory for those of us that are avid fans, we probably don't need quite so much recapping. That being said I loved spending more time in Scarpetta's world with Marino, Benton and Lucy. I was pleased there was more crime scene and autopsy in this book than Depraved Heart., it felt more in keeping with the usual Scarpetta books I enjoy reading.  The end of this book blew my mind...I am still thinking about it days later!  Overall, another enjoyable read in the Scarpetta series. #partriciacornwell #chaos #tea_sipping_bookworm #goodreads #litsy #thestorygraph #bookqueen #bookstagram #amazonaustralia #thriller #kayscarpetta
