Shay has worked for a public radio station for ten years when she gets a new coworker that she despises named Dominic. After a work meeting filled with pressure to land the station more funding, they begin a dating show on the radio under the lie that the two of them are exes who reconciled enough to give dating advice on the air. As the two of them get to know each other, like most forced proximity love stories, they fall for each other.

Some of the plot was hard to believe, the editing wasn’t great, and I think the millennial jokes were a little overdone, but this book was so fun to read. The banter, the sexual tension, and the moments of tenderness were everything. The ending was so satisfying. If you’re looking for something lighthearted, this is it.
