My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite
5.0
I had added this book to my to-be-read list back in August (i think?) And I recently flipped through it in the bookstore, I fell in love with the first chapter. It has dark humour & is very captivating because the author shares the main character (Korede)’s thoughts a lot around the murders that happen.
It features the tall & awkward older sister, Korede who cleans up her younger sister’s mess. Ayoolah, the gorgeous & free-spirited younger sister who ends up killing her lovers. Ayoolah always carries a knife with her, “but why was she carrying a knife?” - Korede thinks
Three, and they label you a serial killer. No one else will clean as efficiently as Korede could for Ayoolah. And since blood is thicker than water, it seems this secret stays between us only. Or does it?
