Killing with Confetti by Peter Lovesey

3.0

Let me start off by saying I have never heard of the author Peter Lovesey nor this book. I was in my library and as always, I just have to look at the new releases section. I saw Killing with Confetti, loved the book title, loved the cover, and decided to check it out from my library.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It isn't scary and murderous; it's part of a detective series, A Peter Diamond Investigation series. And apparently its book 18. I had so much fun reading this book. There was nothing super heady or serious about it, Killing with Confetti was just a good ole' cozy detective story and I loved every single minute of it. So much so, I am definitely going to read more of Lovesey's books.
