This was a quick read, I got through it in one sitting. It’s more slice of life with a dash of horror elements, but not anything that’ll leave you or a 12 year old reader terrified. It’s a good coming of age story and something I’d recommend to fans of <i>This One Summer</i> in terms of how the story progresses. There are a few brief scenes of nudity but those are tied to puberty and changing bodies. I’d recommend this to middle school and up.
