Love Your Life by Sophie Kinsella

2.0

This book is either profoundly sardonic and self-aware of the tropey rom-com genre, and it’s hilarious, or it’s the worst contemporary book I’ve ever read with the least realistic characters, and I wish I’d never read it. My best advice is to read this sarcastically or not at all, but maybe I’m just a bleak person. Read in a “Fleabag”-esque tone, this is a gem, though it can be difficult to keep up the delusions toward the end. Two stars because I don’t think that’s how it’s intended to be interpreted.
