The Marsh King's Daughter by Karen Dionne

3.0

3.5 stars. I liked it enough but didn't love it. Perhaps I would have enjoyed this more had I not just finished another thriller (The Child Finder) involving child kidnapping. Both were set in cold, wintery areas though in different parts of the country. The ending with this one seemed a bit rushed and anti-climatic. i did appreciate the setting as I am completely unfamiliar with Michigan, especially the Upper Peninsula. I found myself looking at maps while reading to familiarize myself with where this book took place. I liked this author's writing style and will check out more of her writing.
