The Bridge Kingdom
by Danielle L. Jensen
This was such a fun read, I devoured the first 4 books in 5 days.
It completely pulled me in with its thrilling mix of mystery, adventure, and slow-burn romance. Lara is a fierce, determined FMC whose internal conflict—torn between duty and what she thought she knew and the truth she uncovers- makes her journey so compelling. Aren is such a sweetheart and their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is filled with tension and great chemistry.
Beyond the romance, the world building is immersive, just enough details to let you need to imagine but gives the shroud of mystery.
The political stakes adding a layer of intensity to the story, but doesn't build up as much until the later books.
