I loved this book a surprising amount 🖤 though it was more supernatural/horror than it was fantasy, I devoured it. It was deliciously spicy with professor/student tension to rival Orion and Darcy 🐦‍⬛ It was mysterious but ultimately grounded in mental health and made me feel a connection to the main character moreso that many FMCs have in my reading experience.  I'm unsure if this story is continuing since the ending said "for now" but the book reads as a standalone. I'm 100% pleased with this story being it in the characters' journeys but would also 100% partake in any future stories about them.

This author is now definitely one I will follow religiously - DAMN can she write a spicy scene.
