The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis
5.0
This was honestly so fun to read. Lewis writes the book in this casual, personal style that leaves you chuckling in the weirdest moments. It feels like he's your grandpa, and he's telling you a story. And he's a great storyteller. I loved how this book made me feel - it just gave me this lightness in my heart and soul that I really needed.
The background on how Narnia (and the wardrobe) came to be was also interesting, and I'm excited to reread The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe now.
