Fresh Fruit, Broken Bodies: Migrant Farmworkers in the United States by Seth Holmes

5.0

This is one of the best books I have ever read. It is truly life changing. Seth Holmes is one of my role models and I want to pursue work in the field of immigration reform once I graduate because his work has meant so much to me. I wish the New York Times would take excerpts from this book and publish it in the paper so everyone can be made aware of the hideous challenges the migrant workers face. I think if people could look at their prejudices from a sociological point of view, then perhaps they would realize how ridiculous and harmful that pattern of thinking is. Love love love it!
