No, just... no.
I've read this book mainly because I bought it with the first book in the series and had nothing else to read.
At the beginning I thought that this can actually work... and that this book is better than the first one. I WAS WRONG. It just goes downhill. I remember that I thought that "Dinner with vampire" ( which is the first book in the series) was bad. This is just equally bad or worse.
I know there are people who love this series, they like the characters in it and enjoy reading about them. I know, I understand. If you like this series good for you, keep on reading.
For me on the other hand this is like a crossover between "50 shades of Grey" with "Twilight" - especially the first book. I don't understand... vampires are supposed to be... at least good according to this book. They're not. Sages suppose to protect people... they usually don't give a damn.
This book... no, just no. If you enjoyed it, good. I honestly disliked it and won't carry on with the series if other books get published.
