4.5 (bc it took me a long time to fully get into it) but rounded up because I think that probably had more to do with me graduating and moving out than it did with Denton-Hursts fabulous fabulous prose. I really enjoyed this book. in a world FILLED with protagonists who work at magazines, Mickey has a unique voice and interesting journey. She is insufferable and egotistical and funny and you root for her. she’s my ideal protagonist to read (even though she is SO in the wrong with Lex). def recommend and i’ll for sure read everything else this author writes
