Not Jenny Colgan's typical heroine, too needy and scattered, and oblivious to other people and herself. I didn't care for how self-absorbed, stalker-ish she was, and could not get into the book. I have adored most of Jenny Colgan's heroines, I like how quirky, adorable, spirited, and independent they are. This reminded me of some of the mainstream romances I ran across and avoided. Not everything is everybody's cup of tea.
