Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

5.0

We all know that movies 3 and 4 are the best movies of the series, and I have to admit that this book has everything I didn't know I needed. Not only did it go above and beyond the storyline that we get in the movies, but the amount of love Harry's surrounded with at Hogwarts is just so freaking heartwarming.

Now, there are scenes that I genuinely was waiting for, only to realize that they happened, just not like the movies. Which, not gonna lie upsets me because I found myself wishing that they happened the way they did in the book.

There's so much in this book that I don't know where to begin. The insight on the Marauder's Map. The insight on the night the Potter's died, even things that set up the rest of the series. Also, the fact that Dumbledore didn't actually play dumb after Hermoine and Harry did what they had to do and save Buckbeak and Sirius was top tier, because honestly, I found it rather odd that he was always like "Goodnight! :D" in the movies when he literally asked them to break rules left and right.

Also, this book had me in tears at the end with Sirius' letter, and how he's literally one of the best characters in this series. Hermoine is a close second just saying.

Anyways, for someone who loves the movies I'm so upset I've waited this long to read this series. Yes Lesia, I see your incoming "I TOLD YOU IT WAS A GOOD SERIES TO READ" (she's been trying to get me to read this series for the last year and a half, well actually for the last 5 years, but I just got back into reading last summer).

Alright, onto the next (and most favourite) story.
