I am such a huge fan of Academic rivals-to-lovers and this was a great implementation of that trope, different to most of my favourites but still really enjoyable. I enjoyed the dual perspective, but I do have to say I think l that the footnotes probably would have worked better if I read this in a physical copy, but they did work really well for Jonah's perspective and really fit with his characterization. Sadie did annoy me a couple times throughout this book, but the reasoning behind her actions did make sense, so that's not a huge concern. This was a fun time, and I'm always happy to pick up any book with academic rivals to lovers.
