Picked this up because I’m a huge fan of Monáe and her exquisite talent and impressive display of imagination.
I’m not generally drawn to SciFi, so it took me a bit of time to get into these stories, but once I caught on to the general overlapping theme tying these stories together, I was intrigued.
Timebox absolutely hooked me. And I couldn’t put the book down from there. I would agree this collaborative collection of stories is compelling and worth a read. Some were not my favorite, but the ones I enjoyed genuinely left me eager to read more.
