Twisted Emotions by Cora Reilly
5.0

-5 stars-
I always find Cora Reilly to write enjoyable stories that keep you interested and thinking about the characters for a while after finishing the book. I love this about her and it keeps me coming back for more and more. The Camorra Chronicles series is a lovely addition to the Mafia World she has built, and I do mean world. To best understand this series you should read "Born in Blood Mafia Chronicles" first, oh and the standalones, AND after this series the Sins of the Fathers. These books are a serious commitment, but they are worth it.

Hii, I'm new to writing reviews, so lets just get into it...
Lets start with a TW, Kiara is a SA survivor and this books provides some details that might be hard for some readers to read.

Twisted Emotions is completely different from Twisted Loyalties, and thank goodness. I loved this book, Nino and Kiara AND our view into the Falcone mansion we are about to become way more familiar with in future books!

Nino: We see Nino in the previous book get used as the arranged marriage peace token. He is the brains of the Camorra, extremely intelligent and logical. He also lacks emotions, like a robot. BUT WE DON'T CARE, Nino is great.
Kiara: A smart, empathetic, keep to herself girl. She had a rough childhood thanks to her father and it didn't get better as a result of his reputation. She is a young cousin of Luca's and the ideal match for the alliance between Camorra and Famiglia. Oh, and she looks great in red.

Kiara is terrified of her arranged marriage to Nino but is soon left feeling safe and comfortable with him, despite the rest of the Falcone family being unhappy with their adjustments. The bloody sheets tradition takes a thrilling spin, and we are fully introduced to the Falcone brothers. Kiara is a much needed addition to their bachelor lives and we see her grow comfortable in her new role.

There is a lot that goes on in this book, that is best to just dive right in for an enjoyable mafia love story by Cora Reilly that will rent space in your brain for a long time. If you like this author and her previous books, you'll love this one too!
