I had Girl in Pieces on my shelf for over two years and I finally decided to read it. At first I thought it was pretty dark you know but I thought to myself I bought this book for a reason. And as I read more of it I was loving every second of it from Charlie’s tragic backstory to her life in the present. I loved all the feels felt with Charlie.
But I will say I didn’t like Riley but ik it was for the development of Charlie and the plot. Over all I loved that she could turn her life around
and what I learned a while back that a addict won’t get sober unless they want to. And most of the time they will get their fix however they can with no concern for others. This might not apply to all addicts but ik it applies to most. Overall I really enjoyed this book.
