Ugh, I don't know about this one. There is a lot to like about it. I do like Elizabeth O'Roark's writing style, I liked that the characters felt real and not like archetypes, and thought the issues the characters dealt with were mature and interesting. On the other hand, this book was WAY too long and drawn out. I thought I was almost done at one point... and I was at 49%. I also really felt pained by the conflict that happens between the couple near the end. She does something foolish, but his reaction was so painful and I felt like the way it was all resolved was kind of a cop-out and just wasn't satisfying for me. I don't know, it just ended on a sour note for me and loses all of the momentum it built.
