This book was not for me.
The Foxhole Court has been on my TBR for so long and I was excited to finally read it but god was I disappointed. I wanted to DNF so many times but pushed through in the hopes it would get better but sadly it didn’t. The last 10% was mildly interesting but by then I’d already checked out and decided I wouldn’t be continuing with the series.
Look if you love this book, series and characters, I’m sorry but I just didn’t like it. I didn’t like the writing style or language used, I didn’t like the plot, and I didn’t like any of the characters.
I’m only giving this 1.5 stars because some of the ideas were ones I was interested in (former teammates turned rivals or a team made up of kids who deserve a second chance) but ultimately they were poorly executed and the rest of it was a no from me.
