As absolutely everyone has said, this book is excellent. Some major topics that get explored:
- do I stay in a bad situation to make it better, or do I leave for me?
- what defines my identity; can I hold conflicting ideas in the same self?
- are cops bad (honestly, I was surprised by the book’s take on this)?
There are many more, but I spent a lot of my time thinking about what the book had to say on those three.
