I have to say I wasn’t expecting the ending at all. It is a slow start and for awhile I was wondering how the book could even end? It didn’t really make sense, until it did.. I guess.
It’s not my favorite book ever, but it wasn’t horrible. I will say caution to those who struggle with mental health. OCD/paranoia/etc was very real in this book and there were times the compulsions and obsessions/worries kind of got to me a bit.
Also, Emma being an attorney finding out her daughter, who is a minor, is in a relationship with her dad’s friend… someone who is significantly older than her and Emma’s first reaction isn’t to get police involved, but threaten her teen that she was going to tell her father? Girl what?
Her husband also sucked. That’s all I got lol.
