I'm loving my reread of this series and by the end of this one it's really feeling as if things are all starting to come together. This one is definitely the darkest and saddest so far, with significant themes of and discussions around grief and loss, but it's also a great mystery and an adventure and I'm just loving getting to know this world and these characters all over again. The only slight gripe I have is that Amanda's character development is still jarringly up-and-down, but I suppose still somewhat realistic for a teenager and it didn't ultimately stop me loving the book (and being sad there are only two more to go!).
