Health at Every Size: The Surprising Truth About Your Weight by Linda Bacon

5.0

EVERYONE who has ever struggled with diets/weight loss should, in my opinion, read this book. And everyone who works in a health practitioner setting of any kind. It uses actual hardcore scientific data to prove just how much we as a nation (possibly as a world?) have been lied to about weight & what it means. It also details a plan that I, thankfully, already follow for the most part- Health at Every Size, loving your body, accepting your body, and practicing healthy behaviors for your body. I think I'll still go back through and do the activities she describes around food/hunger/emotions, as they certainly won't hurt me! I definitely want to really bring more mindfulness to my eating- NOT to lose weight, but to make sure my body feels it's very best. Because I owe it that much. :)
