The Pumpkin Spice Café by Laurie Gilmore is another one of those novels that is worthy of being made into a television movie! Yes, it would be cozy and predictable...but with autumn rolling in and the leaves changing colour and falling from their trees, it would be the perfect film to curl up to with your hot beverage of choice.
Jeanie moves to Dream Harbor following the death of her high-powered boss in Boston and her Aunt Dot gifting her the Pumpkin Spice Café whilst she goes on the trip of a lifetime!
Logan on the other hand has lived in Dream Harbor his whole life. He adores living with his grandparents on their farm, appreciates his friends, even if they are a little quirky, and dislikes having his life turned upside down by the new girl in town who serves beautiful pumpkin spice lattes with a beaming smile...
I owned a copy of this book and listened to it on Spotify. I read this for the 52 Book Club October Mini Challenge 2024, a beverage on the cover.
