I wanted to know what happened to Dain from the last book. And I ended up skimming the majority of this because I do not actually like any of the characters and everything wad dragged out.
I did find out what happened to Dain (and of course they fixed whatever problem was at hand and ended up fine) but I will not be continuing the series - even though the epilogue is another mystery/cliffhanger.
