 This story was incredibly uncomfortable to read because it’s a perfect representation of a teenager’s mind and emotional turmoil. It discusses friendship dynamics, the crazy expectations and ideas that you have at that age about friendships, love and social ideals. It also goes into great detail about living with depression. You start the story knowing how it ends and it’s not a pretty ending but it still keeps you hooked the whole way hoping something changes. 

If you can get over the main character’s annoying personality (again we are seeing the mind of a confused teenager with a lot of issues), you might be able to find the beauty hidden within this tragedy.

Esta historia fue increíblemente incómoda de leer porque es una representación perfecta de la mente y el tormento emocional de un adolescente. Toca temas sobre dinámicas de la amistad, las expectativas locas e ideas inalcanzables que tienes a esa edad sobre las amistades, el amor y los ideales sociales. También entra en gran detalle sobre cómo es vivir con depresión. Comienzas la historia sabiendo cómo termina y no es un final bonito, pero aun así te mantiene enganchado todo el tiempo esperando que algo cambie. Si puedes superar la personalidad molesta del personaje principal (una vez más, estamos viendo la mente de una adolescente confundida con muchos problemas), quizás puedas encontrar la belleza oculta dentro de esta tragedia.
