A great folk tale reteller and psychological fiction storyteller. If only all stories were involving the first and last ones... Anyhow, the unity of effect and the absurdist scenes were delightful.
"On Love a Beauty" and "Lanterns of Romance" were a 5-star read. Absolutely fantastic! Impossible not to grow fond of the Irie Shinnosuke family.
