It
by Stephen King
Hmmmm…
I am a little perplexed as to what to make of this book. Sections of it are incredible. King’s writing is always brilliant. Some of it was a real struggle to get through. I stopped and started reading this book 4 times before finishing.
I also think King’s books are best read in one long stream. A binge-read if you will. To use the momentum of the prose to carry you through the tangents. It’s much harder when you have 20 mins on the morning train and want to have the chapter finished by the time you leave.
And then there’s the scene… I need to look up what the point of that was because, what was the point of that?
