They Came to Baghdad
by Agatha Christie
A very enjoyable read
This book isn't an Hercule Poirot or a Miss Marple mystery but I so enjoyed it. It starts slowly but its pace quickens as the story unfolds. Who can Victoria trust? Who is on her side? Who would want to harm her?
There were quite a few twists and, as usual, red herrings and quite a few relevant characters.
I did suspect right this time.
What I liked too is the archeological side to the story, something Agatha Christie would know quite a bit about having gone to some of her husband's archeological digs
