A Betrayal of Storms by Ben Alderson

Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

The book felt like a mix aqua man (the movie) and frozen and A Court of Thorns and Roses but gay. The writing wasn’t great and read like a middle school fanfic. There were paragraphs that had random spacing that jumped from one line to another multiple times throughout the text that was super jarring. With some more editing, I felt like I would have really enjoyed it. But the way it is now, I’m just banging my head against the wall screaming why.
