This was a book club book and it sounded really intriguing but at about 10% in I realized I wasn’t able to attend the meeting to discuss and I happily abandoned ship. I actually learned a few interesting things about the world in the 1600s about trade and privateering but it felt like reading a textbook. Arggh, boring.
