If It Makes You Happy

medium-paced
Michelle comes to run her mother's inn while her sister finishes school and immediately gets sucked into her hot neighbor, Cliff's, very big orbit of happiness and single dad-dom.
While I love that this is very reminiscent of Gilmore Girls switched ( if Lorelai was grumpy and Luke was sunshine) and the 90s setting was so nostalgic, I very much enjoyed it but wouldn't say I'm raving like a lot of others.
I really liked Cliff's daughters. I liked how real Cliff's stress felt with them. I don't like the theme of the mother preferring one daughter over another (just like Michelle felt with her mom). My other favorite part was Michelle having conversations with Rocket, the dog... who has the most perfect POV at the end ☺️
