This is SJM takes on Hallmark movies, only instead of flannels, they're wearing furs. And it's just as binary and heteronormative as you'd expect, so I think it's actually more the new GAC Family than Hallmark. SJM can throw in Mor's ~preferences~ all she wants, but the whole point of everything is still the mating faes, as evidenced by the ✨transcendent✨ cabin scene, guess you only get that if you're ✨fated✨ amirite?
Also... Nesta is the bitch, but Elain kinda sucks too? She's nice but not kind - Nesta at least is who she is openly.
Anyway. One book to go and then I'm done with this series.
