Oliver Twist [Adaptation] by Charles Dickens, Les Martin

5.0

Great tale of its age, though obviously very sad.
Not sure I would equate it as the male Jane Eyre, but it is close.
Memorable characters abound as do famous quotes.
Still not the best depiction of women, but not as egregious as David Copperfield and given what we know about Dickens' own personal life, perhaps it makes some sense.
