As a fan of horror movies, I absolutely loved this book. I like Hendrix's ability to honor the horror genre while also critiquing it, and it's impact on society. The book is thrilling and full of tension; it had me on the edge of my seat. The twists were good, and one shocked me so much I audibly gasped. I loved Lynnette's dark humor and seeing her change throughout the story.
