Succubus Revealed by Richelle Mead

4.0

Apologies for how disjointed this review is, but I just finished it and I'm tired :) This is definitely 4.5 stars, more than 4, and the only reason I docked the half star was because it was fairly predictable. I'm going to put the rest under a cut since a few of my GR friends haven't read it yet.
SpoilerI'm fairly satisfied with the way the series ended. I definitely knew that Seth was the reincarnation of Georgina's husband from when she was mortal (figured that had to be the case a book or two ago. And I'm definitely not the only one, since I think it was fairly obvious). I'd also like to mention how much I absolutely love Roman (once he got past the whole homicidal maniac thing of course) and Carter. I teared up several times while reading this, but especially when it came to Roman's sacrifice and then Carter's little speech to Georgina. One of my favorite things about this series, as well as Mead's other series, is that the secondary characters are fleshed out, flawed, loveable, and real. They don't feel like they're just background to the main couple, which is the case in a fair amount of the other romance-y type books I've read. Anyway, I know it's super cheesy and maybe a little preachy, but I really do love the whole love conquers all message in the book.
